• School Girls aim for chapati making record in Rajkot

    The 1,200 girl students of Rajkot’s Kadvibai Virani Kanya Vidhyalaya (KVKV) are all set to enter the Limca Book of Records by making 25,000 chapattis within 10 minutes.School principal Sonal Shah said, “The event will take place on Wednesday from 8am to 9am at the school premises. A total of 1800 girls will take part. While 1,200 girls will make chapattis, 600 others will join them as volunteers.” The event is being sponsored by Rajkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    After the event is over, the chapattis along with other food items will be distributed among the patients in various hospitals and the poor people by city-based Bolbala Charitable Trust.

    “Each participant will bring 250 gram flour from her home for making chapattis,” Shah added.
