Sharp, growing software and internet development group, is seeking a strong PHP developer. The ideal candidate will be versatile, a team player, organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should be self-motivated and will be required to work both individually and with other team members.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of PHP (4/5) and MySql development
• Working knowledge of Relational Database Concepts
• Ability to design and extend database schemas to meet new client requirements
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience administering LAMP environments
• Strong knowledge of XHTML / Web standards
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work both individually and with a team
• Ability to work within tight deadlines

• Ability to work with a team at a project planning level

Bonus Points for the following:

• Experience with ecommerce platform integration
• Ability to re-factor open source code
• JavaScript, Java, DHTML/XHMTL, AJAX, Flash.
• Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux

• Ability to integrate with web service APIs (REST, XML-RPC, RSS, etc)
