Job description for System Engineer

Designation : Senior System Engineer/System Engineer

Job Description :
• Configuration and Implementation of the CRESTEL – Telecom billing product.
• CRESTEL testing
• Co-ordination with other teams for technical problem
• To look after day to day Operation and give support to clients queries and problems.
• To support the project teams in order to enable timely solution delivery.
• Project trouble shooting
• Learn new concepts and/or technologies
• Ability to handle customer deployment issues
• Understand and plan component deployment

Desired Profile :

Qualification : BE ( E & C; CS )/ B.Tech / MCA/ M.Tech

Experience:

2-6 years of experience in
• Product Implementation
• Unix shell script
• SQL / PL-SQL
• Telecom Convergent Billing- Pre-paid/post- paid
• Defining/review of the business functional test case
• End-to-End testing of Business Functionalities.
• Presentation/ training to customer

Key Skill/Knowledge:
Technical
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, Unix, Sun Solaris, RDBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL), JSP, J2EE application server knowledge, Apache and Tomcat knowledge and Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
• Telecom domain understanding for different services like, dial-up, broadband, Wi-Fi, Wireless broadband, Voice- GSM, CDMA, VOIP, PSTP, SS7.

Non-Technical
• Excellent communication & Presentation skill
• Should have analytical and logical skills
