COUNTRY MANAGER (expected date of filling up the position – April 1, 2009)

Job Profile
• The candidate will have to collect information from
various Internet based sources to populate a Public
affairs directory.
• This includes, an in depth analysis of the data available
on the Website to map non structured data into a DB model
• This requires a good knowledge of Political organizations
at Supranational, International and National levels.

• In addition the collection of Data requires a semantic
knowledge as in the following example, a contact record
displays all information regarding contact, in addition
another page will display the members of a Commission
within the House of representatives. It will be necessary
to link the Commission name to the contact although that
information may not appear on the contact record.
• The candidate will act as an expert to define the
methodology and data model to classify all information
available.

• The candidate will manage Data collectors and guarantee
the quality of the Data.
• Lastly as the contents will be in different languages, a
multi-lingual capability will be appreciated

Job Specification

• 2 to 3 years experience in data analysis/media
analysis/content analysis/ media evaluation or
benchmarking/ Media research/Data research etc...

• Thorough knowledge of MS Office & searching on Internet

• Knowledge of statistics is preferable
