Qualification : B.E or B.Tech with Electrical with minimum 60% marks (Aggregate of 7th & 8th semester, first trial without ATKT) for General category candidates and 55% marks (Aggregate of 7th & 8th semester, first trial without ATKT) for Reserved category candidates. Candidates who have appeared in final year examination of B.E or B.Tech with Electrical, i.e 8th semester or final exam can also apply. But their selection will be made subject to final year result match with above criteria only. Candidates belong to SC/SEBC category can also apply with requirement of above criteria as UR category.

AGE LIMIT: (As on the date of issuance of the advertisement):
30 Years for General category candidates and 35 years for Reserve categories candidates only.

1st& 2nd Year       12,000
3rd year                   13,000
Pay Scale : 17,300 – 38,610
VACANCIES:
Approx. 13 (+) Nos. of Vacancies [UR-(09) & ST-(04)]. The vacancies may increased, considering the future vacancies, which are likely to arise in the whole year and the same vacancies will be filled-up as per Roster points / rules. These vacancies are under various Circles of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited.

General:
1. Applications will be short listed as per requirement & only short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview on the percentage of academic performance / Experience / Age etc.
2. Incomplete applications, applications without enclosures, application without Demand Draft or applications received after the due date will be rejected without assigning any reasons thereof. Only UR Category Candidates have to send Demand Draft of Rs. 200/-. Demand Draft amount is non-refundable, towards application form fee, processing and scrutiny fee.
3. Knowledge of Gujarati & Computer is essential.
4. Physically handicapped candidates shall have to submit latest certificate of Civil Surgeon indicating existing percentage of disability.
5. The candidate appointed on this post has to carry out technical work in the field and has to carry out extensive field work with day to day travelling. Looking to the nature of duties, the candidates applying for this post should be physically sound, out fit to perform the duties.
6. Caste (Reserved category) certificate of Gujarat State only will be considered).
7. Department candidates meeting the qualification / experience criteria can also apply through proper channel and compete with the external candidates.
8. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.
9. If you are a Govt. servant or working in a Semi Government or Public body, applications should be forwarded through proper channel and “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned organization shall be produced at the time of joining, failing which candidature will be disqualified for appointment.
10. The selected candidates shall have to produce reliving letter from the previous employer at the time of resuming duties of the Company.
