This fest is with a difference. Insignia has been launched by ICFAI Business School in partnership with the Blind People’s Association (BPA). “BPA will be given a platform to talk about their activities and promote the products made by their students at the event. We have even invited the director of the BPA to be amongst the guest lecturers,” Sonu Dixit, the event secretary of Insignia 2009.

The theme of the programme will be Igniting minds and inculcating leadership’. The students will be hosting the one-day event at Tagore hall on November 6.

“We are expecting participation from over 500 students of 50 colleges across the country. The events to be held include Consultorial – business strategy competition, Ad-dict – marketing and communication development event, Bizooka – business quiz and Plan-de-Negocios – business plan competition. The event will end with a cultural performance by the students of BPA,” said Sagar Ramsinghani, another students from the organising committee.

“ICFAI has various campuses across the country, but has never had an event where all campuses could come together. We have planned for an event, Pantethlon, which is especially for the ICFAI students. The students will be tested on strategy making, quizzes, business plan, case solving and others,” added Dixit.
