Six faculties join in Cept’s central placement process in Gujarat
Indian Institute Of Management
In a first, Cept University has initiated a central placement process for the final year students of its six faculties. The placement process has already attracted a large number of global names.
Central placement centre (CPC), established in May 2012, started functioning from February 16 this year and will complete the hiring process by May 31. Faculty of technology management, planning and public policy, construction and project management, infrastructure engineering and management, geomatics and space application and sustainable environment and climate change are the six faculties that have been chosen for CPC this year.
“Players like Shapoorji Pallonji Group, Gujarat Public Service Commission, JMC Projects India Pvt Ltd., TERI, Evosys, Infostretch, E-Infochips, Center for Good Governance, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewage Board, VMS Consultants and I-Maritime are some of the names who have conducted interviews and hired several of our final year students,” said registrar Anita Hiranandani.
The job profiles that are being considered during CPC are mainly project and supply chain management, procurement and infrastructure management, energy management, technology transfer, business development, planning and public policy and logistics. Till date 38 students that have been interviewed have got job offers. “Average salary package is Rs 5 lakh per annum,” she added.
