DOCOMO launch delayed in Gujarat!
Tata Teleservices Ltd’s DOCOMO will take a little more time than scheduled for its launch in Gujarat.
“The spectrum allocated to us has not been released by government agencies. Hence, we are not able to launch the services in the state. We had earlier planned to launch DOCOMO by December 15,” said Naveen Bhasin, chief operating officer, COO of TTL Gujarat. “TTL has its share of spectrum, but it has to be cleared by local authorities too and such procedures take time,” Bhasin explained.
Asked about the next possible launch date, Bhasin said the company is now planning to do so by January end. TTL is very excited about Gujarat market and is hoping to get maximum incremental market share from here.
