350 more seats in engg colleges in gujarat

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on Wednesday announced 350 more seats in  engineering colleges in the state. Also, the committee did not give its nod for engineering colleges under Public Private Partnership schemes. 69 adhoc lecturer needed in GTU for new engineering colleges

The six engineering colleges and one polytechnic that have been set up in Public-Private Partnership model by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) are recruiting faculty members. GTU has issued a notice that these institutes require 69 faculty members. The interviews for the interested applicants will be held on July 11.

Engg, pharma admissions will be delayed by a week

Taking into account the confusion created among students by the huge increase in engineering and pharmacy seats following the two mock rounds, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (technical) (ACPC) on Thursday decided to reschedule their actual admission round.

ACPC will first conduct the third mock round on July 10, which will clarify the students’ doubts regarding their choice of engineering/pharmacy branch and the college they had opted for. More »
