Gujarat CM announces Govt. to set up 14 more engg colleges
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has announced the setting up of 14 new engineering colleges in the state to empower the youth by providing technical education.
Official sources said here today that Modi made the announcement here last evening after laying the foundation stone of a new engineering college campus to be built at a project cost of Rs 60 crores in Godhra Bypass Way.
He said that 14 districts of the state would get one each of engineering college as more skilled workers will be required in the near future after the recently concluded spectacular success of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, where the state bagged investment worth Rs 14 lakh crores. This would generate 25 lakh new employments.
He futher added that the state had 33 new Engineering Colleges and 40 new Polytechnics and decision has been taken to increase the engineering seats on Diploma/degree courses from the current 31,840 to 70,122 in the near future.
Adding that the Summit ended with a note and indications of ”Bharatna Bhagya Vidhata” (Determinants of the Future of India), Modi expressed his earnest desire that the Centre should understand the spirit of the summit as development of Gujarat will lead to the country’s development.

but what about PART TIME DEGREE ENGINEERING COLLEGES? many people get struck after doing diploma and as they are busy with their jobs, they are not able to carry on their education as there are very less PART TIME DEGREE ENGINEERING COLLEGES IN GUJARAT.

Gujarat goverment should also focus on PART-TIME Degree courses also…..bcoz….now a days they have already increased almost….50% seats in diploma courses….People like me, due to some financial problem we can’t go for regular study…..and AMIE is not that much valuable course…..in gujarat there are only two college for part-time degree….Gujarat goverment requested to start Part time degree engineering courses in many of the gujarat collage, where ever the industrial areas are devloped…so that persons like me can do some thing for further study…..
ANY OF PERSON FROM GUJARAT EDUCATION BOARD READ THIS MASSAGE ….REQUESTED TO TAKE THIS THING TO CORRECT LEVEL ….so that any action can be taken from board…

sir last time in 2009 i did’nt got the admission in engnearing college because last time adm was online so i did’nt got required information on it my friends behind me got admission in re-shuffiling but i did’nt got admission. take care of this matter. now a days i m in maharastra for enginearing but here good facilitis are not provided like gujarat so this tmie also i m giving guj-cet plz take care of this thing
