GCET going well on day 1!

June 29th, 2010 Posted in Admissions, New course in Gujarat

Gujarat Common Entrance Tests (GCET) began on Monday. Around 23,000 students have registered for the tests that pave the way for admission to MBA or MCA courses in colleges across the state.

The students who appeared for the exam on day one found the exam easy but time consuming. Mathematics was tough for most.

Unlike last year, where there were reports of power failure in several centres, on Monday only one such case was reported from a Surat centre. However, the power was restored shortly.

In Som Lalit college, the systems were functioning on the electricity generator. Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has taken precaution to avoid the technical glitches that marred the tests last year.
