After introducing a host of convenience features and checklists to the online admission procedure, the Admission Commitee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is keeping its fingers crossed hoping  that all goes well unlike last year. The year 2009, when the online procedure was introduced, saw confusion and goof-ups from students and colleges alike due to lack on information about the process. Google India targets Gujarat SMBs for online advertising campaign!

Google India is eying small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Gujarat for its online advertisement programme AdWords by the end of this year, the company’s online sales head, Sridhar Seshadri, said.

“Gujarat with over 7,000 SMBs is the hub of entrepreneurship in the country and has tremendous potential of online advertising,” Seshadri said while announcing Google India’s new service called ‘JumpStart’ for the state. More »

PDPU signs MoU with American univ for exchange program

AHMEDABAD: The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Oklahoma (OU),United States of America, on January 12. The MoU between the two universities is for faculty and student exchange programs and exchange of published information. 

The OU consists of fifteen colleges, including 152 specialisations such as meteorology, geology, petroleum engineering and history of science.
