250 opening GSRTC for Class-I & Class-II by GPSC

Class -II & Class – III vacancy for GSRTC Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation. There is no exam taken by GPSC. There will 70 marks of merit which will be prepared based on your graduation , post graduation grades and computer certificates and 30 marks of interview will be conducted by GPSC.

Total : 100 marks

70 marks : Education Grade like Distinction/ First/ Second Class + Additional Degree + Computer Certification

30 marks: Interview by GPSC

About GSRTC:

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is a passenger transport organization providing bus services both within Gujarat and neighboring states. GSRTC came into existence on 1st May, 1960 on formation of Gujarat. From a modest begining of 7 divisions, 76 depots and 7 divisional workshops and a fleet of 1,767 buses it has gone to,

16 Divisions
126 Depots
226 bus stations
1,554 pick up stands
8,000 buses

This remarkable growth is an outcome of unflagging effort of more than 50,000 workforce, dynamic management and sustained support from the state govt. It has built up formidable technical facilities. These are :

Three level maintenance and repair facility- 126 depot workshops, 16 divisional workshops and a central workshop
7 tyre retreading plant
Bus body building plant (1000 bus bodies/ year)
Ticket printing press
Use of Information Technologies
