GPSC (Gujarat Public SErvice Commission) has declared result of GPSC prelim exam taken on this january.
- Total 1072 Candidate has been pass.
- GPSC has taken Prelim exam on 22th January of this year

MICA’s course now in the distance mode

Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA) has teamed up with Hughes Communication India Ltd, to launch a postgraduate certificate programme in advertising management and public relations through the distance mode, the latter has announced.
This will be the sixth batch of the one-year course, now available to students outside Ahmedabad in association with Hughes Communications.
Due to start in April 2012, the course brings together MICA’s reputable faculty to help students across India with syllabus specific to PR and advertising, which can create marketing and communication professionals tailor-made for the Indian corporate sector. More »
LikeGujarat Govt to recruit more intelligence officers
In a bid to strengthen its intelligence network, the state government has decided to create 100 more posts of assistant intelligence officers in the bureau.
Sources said a provision of Rs 2.62 crore has been made for the recruitment and salaries of these new officers.
Their induction is part of a larger exercise being carried out by the state government to strengthen the police force.
The government is also proposing to create three new posts of deputy commissioner of police at Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Surat.
Besides, the recruitment would also be made at various other levels in the coming year, which would take the strength of police personnel in the state to one lakh.
