Univarsity Number Nine in Ahmedabad City!
Following the footsteps of the Ahmedabad Education Society that set up Ahmedabad University, the Gujarat Law Society is planning to set up its own university. The proposal will be submitted to the state government next month. If it is sanctioned, the city will get its ninth varsity.
The trust is scouting S G Highway for possible sites to set up the university. More »

Google India is eying small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Gujarat for its online advertisement programme AdWords by the end of this year, the company’s online sales head, Sridhar Seshadri, said.
“Gujarat with over 7,000 SMBs is the hub of entrepreneurship in the country and has tremendous potential of online advertising,” Seshadri said while announcing Google India’s new service called ‘JumpStart’ for the state. More »

Placement at MSU’s science faculty goes hi-tech!
VADODARA: Campus placement at MS University (MSU) went high tech with science faculty arranging a video conference facility at its placement cell. It will also be the first faculty in the varsity to offer such facility to boost the placement process as well aims to provide gateways to interact with faculty members from foreign universities.
