160 opening for post of Jr. Assistant (VIDYUT SAHAYAK) in UGVCL
Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd invite application for Jr. Assistant (VIDYUT SAHAYAK)
QUALIFICATION:
Graduate (B.A, B.Com, B.B.A, or B.Sc (Only with Mathematics / Chemistry / Biology /Physics)), (Full time Course) from a recognized University with 60% and more marks in final year exam and have cleared in first attempt only.
The knowledge of Computers and English language is essential, which shall be assessed by the Company through pre-employment test.
AGE LIMIT :
25 years for General category and 30 years for reserved category. (As on 01/03/2010). Relaxation in upper age limit to P/H candidates & Ex Armed Force Personnel is 10 years, and 5 years for female Candidates in respective caste.
REMUNERATION :
Fixed remuneration for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year would be Rs.3500/-, Rs.4000/- and 4500/- respectively per month. No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except coverage under Personal Accident Policy, Reimbursement of TA/DA as per rules etc.
VACANCIES :
Approx: 160 Nos. (Including UR-114, SEBC-40, SC-01, ST-01 & P/H-04 Nos).
These vacancies are under various Offices of Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited under Mehsana, Sabarmati, Himatnagar and Palanpur Circle. The number of vacancies may vary depending upon the actual requirement and likely to be arising in next year.
GENERAL :
a) The management reserves the right to short list, select or rejects any candidates for written test / Oral / Interview as the case may be for selection.
b) The management reserves right to cancel Select list / Waiting list at any time at it’s sole discretion, without assigning any reasons thereof.
c) The selected Junior Assistant (Vidyut Sahayak) shall be appointed initially for the period of three years and may be considered for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant on regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs.9, 700/- – 21, 710/- subject to completion of above period by the select candidate satisfactory.
d) The application is liable to be rejected, if it is not in conformity with given proforma, incomplete, illegible, and unsigned or without requisite certificates and application fee wherever applicable or received after closing date, without assigning any reasons thereof and in all such events the fees received by DD will not be refunded. Those who are applying under UR Category, Candidates have to submit Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- along with application. The category of SC, ST, SEBC & P/H are exempted from the application fees. Demand Draft amount is non-refundable, towards application processing and scrutiny fee. The D.D detail is to be mentioned perfectly in the Application Form. Copy of School Leaving Certificate is must for Birth / Age verification.
e) SEBC candidates shall have to submit latest Creamy layer certificate -“Annexure-A” for the year 2009.
f) Reservation in seat quota and age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, female candidates and for Physical Handicapped candidates will be maintained as per prevailing rules of Govt. Gujarat.
g) Physically handicapped candidates shall have to submit fresh certificate of Civil Surgeon indicating existing percentage of disability.
h) UGVCL will not be responsible for any postal loss / delay of receipt of application. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.
i) Caste (Roster category) certificate of Gujarat State only will be considered.
j) Selected Candidate shall have to work any where under the jurisdiction of UGVCL and the candidate selected for the post, shall not be transferred from UGVCL to any other subsidiary Company of GUVNL.
k) Candidate, who is applying against any quota as narrated above, may write the same in application form in respective column. Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for the further selection process.
m) Candidates should have sound health. Candidates with myopia and hypermetropia exceeding +/- 4.00D need not apply. Squint and color blindness (partial or full) is disqualification for the post.
n) Applicant has to apply in A4 size paper only.
o) No any traveling fare will be paid to any candidates for attending the written test.
p) Those employed in Govt. Department / PSU should apply through proper channel OR submit “No Objection Certificate” along with application.
q) Written test will be conducted in English language only.
Candidates meeting the above criteria may send their application in the prescribed format downloaded from www.ugvcl.com, along with (a) Two passport size photographs, (b) Attested copy of SLC (c) Attested copy of mark sheet of final year of Graduation on or before: 25/03/2010 to The I/c. Additional General Manager(HR), Corporate Office, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited, Visnagar Road, Mehsana – 384001 along with crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- from any Nationalized Banks (Only applicable to UR category), favoring “UGVCL” and payable at Mehsana” by Registered post only, dulduly mentioning “Application for the post of Junior Assistant (Vidyut Sahayak)” on envelop.

The job of VIDHYUT SAHAYAK is only for scince graduates not for others it means……. i have not seen any person who has his B.A degree with QUALIFICATION:
