13,000 FY BA forms sold on first day in GU

About 13,000 forms for first year Bachelor of Arts were sold on Monday at colleges affiliated to Gujarat University in the state. The forms will be available till June 3.
According to GU officials, more BA forms were sold in the city compared to rural areas. “There were 9,000 forms sold for 25 colleges in the city with 15,000 seats against 4,000 sold for 30 rural colleges having 10,000 seats,” said GU vice-chancellor Parimal Trivedi. While colleges printed BA forms, GU took the responsibility of printing one lakh forms for BBA and BCA each and two lakh for BCom.
“The reason for printing forms in huge bulk is to meet the requirement of every student who has to fill in five forms for different colleges at a time,” said Trivedi.
