250 opening GSRTC for Class-I & Class-II by GPSC

400 seats likely to increase in MEd colleges in Gujarat

A total of 400 seats in MEd colleges in the state are expected to increase as National Council for Teachers’ Education (NCTE) has ordered an increase of 35 seats in every MEd college from earlier 25 seats.

The development comes as a heart-warming news for those who could not secure admission into MEd colleges during recently concluded admission process, as there will be another round of admission after the increase in seats. More »

Tata AutoComp Systems(TACO) to set up five factories at Sanand

Tata AutoComp Systems (TACO) is setting up five auto component manufacturing plants at Sanand in Gujarat at an investment of Rs 300 crore, a state industry department official said on Tuesday.

“TACO is investing around Rs 300 crore to open five plants at Sanand in Gujarat in current financial year. These five new factories are part of the vendor park coming up at the Tata Nano plant site,” the official said.

TACO is amongst the largest automotive components groups in India, having revenues in excess of Rs 3,500 crore.

2895 new diploma engg seats approved by AICTE in Gujarat

All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved 2895 more seats in diploma courses in engineering. Out of these, 2265 seats are in eight colleges set up recently.
